THIRTY-FIVE DEACCESSIONED CITY ART COLLECTION ARTWORKS SOLD AT MICHAAN’S AUCTIONS

ABSTRACT: After the City Council approved the deaccessioning of thrity-five City art collections artworks, the City commissioned Michaan’s Auctions to sell the artworks. Auctions were conducted on November 5, 2013, December 1, 2013, December 3, 2013 and January 7, 2014. The City realized $9,680.14 for the sale of the artworks from auctions (accounting for Michaan’s Auctions 10% commission and 1.5% insurance fee) (Michaan’s Est. Low $6,325 and Est. High Status $11,960 for all thirty-five artworks).
